A small business open for customers

Why it matters

Everything your local presence needs, handled for you

One team, one strategy, every lever of Local SEO managed end to end.

Before you fix it

What usually goes wrong

The same four failures turn up on almost every account we audit.

An unfinished Google Business Profile

Missing hours, no services, three photos. The profile is what most people actually see, and an incomplete one loses to a complete competitor before your website is ever opened.

The wrong primary category

It is the single strongest local ranking signal and it is usually set once, casually, and never revisited. The wrong choice caps everything else you do.

Inconsistent name, address and phone

Old listings with a previous address or a former phone number pull against you. Search engines see disagreement and trust the whole picture less.

One page for every town

A single page trying to rank for a dozen locations ranks for none of them. Each place you want to be found needs something real to point at.

How it works

See how each piece drives local rankings

1

Google Business Profile, weaponised

We treat your profile like a landing page, categories, services, geo-tagged photos, weekly posts, and review velocity all tuned to push you into the top 3. This is where most local searches are won or lost.

2

Location pages that don't get penalised

Every service area page is genuinely unique, local context, real reviews, area-specific FAQs, and schema. No thin doorway templates, so you rank and stay ranked.

Reporting

How we measure it

What lands in your inbox each month, and what deliberately does not.

What we report

Conversations, qualified opportunities and meetings booked, tied back to what was spent. Activity numbers are in the report as context, but they are never the headline, because activity is an input and you are buying an outcome.

What we deliberately leave out

Open rates and impressions. Both are easy to inflate and neither predicts revenue, so putting them at the top of a report is a way of looking busy rather than being useful.

How often you see it

A monthly report and a short review to decide what changes. If something breaks between reports we tell you then rather than waiting for the calendar, because a problem held for three weeks is three weeks of wasted spend.

Your part

What we need from you

We run the work. These are the only three things we need back from you.

Someone who can approve

One person who can sign off the direction and the copy without a committee. Approval bottlenecks are the most common reason a launch slips, and they are entirely avoidable.

An honest description of your buyer

Who actually says yes, who blocks it, and what they were doing the week before they bought. This is the input that changes results most and takes about an hour.

A short review each month

Thirty minutes to look at what came in and decide what to change. Everything else is on us, but the decisions about direction stay with you.

FAQ

Your questions answered

A flat monthly fee based on how many locations we cover and how competitive the area is. A single location in a quiet market and five locations in a city are genuinely different amounts of work, so we quote after looking at what you are actually competing against rather than from a price list.

Profile and citation fixes can move things within weeks, because you are removing something holding you back rather than building something new. Map Pack movement in a competitive area usually takes three to six months, and reviews build steadily rather than arriving at once. Anyone promising the Map Pack in thirty days is not describing your market.

Yes. Each location gets its own profile, its own review flow, its own citations and its own page. The most common mistake with multi location businesses is treating them as one entity, which leaves every individual location competing weakly instead of each one competing properly in its own area.

Google Business Profile management, review generation and responses, citation building and cleanup, location and service pages, local schema, and reporting tied to calls and enquiries rather than rankings alone. The audit tells us which of these is actually holding you back, because it is rarely all of them equally.

Not if they are real pages. Pages get penalised when they are the same text with the town swapped, which is what most location page templates produce. Each page needs something genuinely specific to that place, which is more work and is the reason it keeps working.

For the Map Pack, yes, Google requires a real address or a defined service area. A service area business can hide the address and still rank across the places it serves, which is the right setup for trades and anyone who travels to the customer. What does not work is inventing a location you do not operate from; that gets profiles suspended, and a suspension is far harder to undo than slow ranking.

The address has to change everywhere at once, which is more work than it sounds because old citations linger on directories nobody remembers creating. Disagreement between listings pulls rankings down, so we find and update them rather than only fixing the Google profile. Done properly a move costs a few weeks of momentum; done badly it can cost a year.

Usually yes, but not as easily as in your own. Proximity is a real ranking factor, so competing in a neighbouring town means everything else has to be stronger: a genuine page about the work you do there, reviews mentioning it, and consistent citations. It is achievable and it is slower, and we would rather tell you that at the start.

You do, always. We work as a manager on your profile rather than creating one we control. If you ever stop working with us, you keep the profile, the reviews and the history, because a profile you do not own is not an asset.

You can rank in the Map Pack with a strong Google Business Profile and no website at all, and for some trades that is genuinely enough to start. But the profile and the site reinforce each other: the site is where you prove depth, answer questions and rank for the searches that never touch the map. Without one you are competing with one hand behind your back.

Fewer than most people assume, and more consistently than most people manage. What matters is being in the same range as the businesses you are competing against and having new ones arriving steadily. Forty reviews collected over two years reads worse than twenty five arriving over six months, because recency is part of the signal.

Yes, but it takes longer. A generic name means more confusion in citations and more competitors with similar listings, so consistency across every directory matters more than it would otherwise. The work is the same, the discipline required is higher, and it is worth knowing that going in.

Yes. Photos, services, opening hours, holiday hours and regular posts are all part of profile management. It sounds cosmetic and it is not: a profile with current photos and filled in services converts far better than an identical business with three photos from four years ago.

You keep it. The profile, the reviews, the citations and the pages are all yours and stay yours. Rankings will drift over time without upkeep, because competitors keep working, but nothing is switched off and nothing is taken back.

Usually, though it depends on why it was suspended. The common causes are an address that cannot be verified, a category that does not match what the business does, or review activity that broke the rules. We work out which it was, fix the underlying problem and file the reinstatement, and we will tell you honestly if the case is weak.

Yes, and they need particular care. Franchise locations often compete with each other in search as well as with outside businesses, and a shared brand name makes citation consistency harder. Each location gets its own profile, its own reviews and its own page, and the structure is agreed with head office so nothing you do locally breaks brand guidelines.

It happens more than people expect, particularly in trades. Listings at addresses nobody operates from, or keyword stuffed business names, can be reported to Google with evidence and are often removed. It is slow and it is worth doing, because removing two fake listings above you moves you up two places without any other work.
